IT'S GETTING HOT HOT HOT! 3 THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO TO PROTECT YOUR SKIN THIS SUMMER!

Summers almost here! You know what that means : hot beach trips, crazy festivals, delicious picnics and a lot of cool outdoorsy fun activities to enjoy! But all this fun in the sun can wreak havoc on your precious skin if you don't take the proper precautions. Here are 3 simple ways to enjoy your summer but also protect your healthy glowing skin :)




1.) I Scream, You Scream...For Sunscreen!


Sunscreen is the best way to protect your skin. The sun emits harmful rays that can penetrate and damage your skin slowly over time. These rays can be classified into two groups: UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays stand for Ultra Violet Aging Rays. These rays are responsible for collagen degradation and premature aging of the skin.

Ouch, ouch, ouch!! We've all experienced the dreaded sun burn! It burns and stings and your skin is peeling off like a poor little jungle snake. Well you can thank UVB rays for that, cause they're the responsible culprits! UVB rays stand for Ultra Violet Burning Rays, and they do exactly what they say...they burn! When you get a sunburn, you're causing severe, irreversible, damage to your skin. Your'e also risking your life! Melanoma which is a form of skin cancer is no joke and can be a serious life and health risk if not detected in time so you better think twice before you get your tan on!

Without proper daily protection, your skin will lose its natural youthfullness and glow to these suckers, so slather it up! Protect your fountain of youth and watch out for these rays. With a good broad-spectrum sunscreen, you'll be protected and ready to go! ;)

5 REASONS WHY I LOVE MY BOLD BROWS!


Growing up, I've always had a love-hate relationship with my brows. I always thought that as soon as I got the chance to tweeze them to hell, I would. I mean I never really hated them, my brows just never seemed to "fit-in" so to speak. Then I saw Brooke Shields in "Blue Lagoon" and my whole perception of my brows changed! She looked like a golden goddess and her brows were to die for! Thus my journey on brow-self acceptance began and I totally grew to love my little furry companions :) Here are 5 more reasons why I love my bold brows and why you (if you own a pair) should too!:




1.) They're fashionable.

Models and stars all over the world are rocking them on the runways and red carpets! Bold brows are easily becoming one of the biggest universal fashion beauty statements!

WHAT IM LEAVING BEHIND IN 2014..

2014 for me has been filled with a bunch of ups and downs.  Some moments, I was able to overcome some great hurdles and other moments I felt I didn't accomplish much.But it's all about the end result right? 5 DUMB QUESTIONS THAT I PONDER ABOUT SOMETIMES..

Everyone has their ditsy blond moments, some more than others in my case :) I've compiled a list of questions that I ponder about sometimes and that are worthy of labeling me a true airhead! I'M DITSY SOMETIMES & I'M PROUD !

#1.) Why is tuna called "Chicken Of The Sea"?

Jessica Simpson was right! I understand that it's great for marketing and to get people who are anti-pescatarians to try some fish, but why name it chicken if it's nothing close to chicken? Just call it what it is and sell it!

HOW TO RELAX 101 + SOME HELPFUL TIPS :)


Life can be so hectic sometimes, and we let it make us that way!! It is so important to get some necessary down time, slow down and take notice of your surroundings. Everything doesn't have to be fast-paced and rushed! Here are my top 5 ways on how to relax and "woosa" your way into heavenly bliss :)





1.) "PAMPER ME" TIME








Pamper yourself! Soak in a warm, rich bubble bath and let the bubbles soothe you and lower your adrenaline levels. Play some soft jazz music, apply some of your favorite face mask, put some fresh cool cucumber over your eyes and float away to peace and serenity :)

TIP: Add some lavender essential oil to boost up the soothing and relaxation of your bubble bath. Lavender essential oil is proven to help with treating depression, anxiety and antsy and jittery nerves, while also substantially increasing mental activity.
