3 THINGS YOU SHOULDN'T DO ON YOUR JOURNEY TO SELF-DISCOVERY.

The journey to self discovery is such a glorious and wonderful phase in everyones life...NOT!! This transitional phase in life can be filled with confusion, emotional despair, and more confusion, trust me. Here are my top three tips on the things you should avoid during this time period when your judgement isn't the clearest.

Following bad influences

Stay away from people who can't stay away from trouble. People who are bad influences and can not stay away from trouble are only going to steer you towards negative and dangerous situations.

Try everything out because "you only live once"

Certain things you don't have to try out to figure out that they're no good for you. Some things are just dangerous and shouldn't be experimented with at all. Stay away from things that you think will snowball into bad and dangerous habits and think about how it will affect the people around you.

Not listen to your parents or positive influences around you.

Parents don't talk just to talk, they've been there and done that and are just trying to steer you out of trouble and help you avoid all the unnecessary problems that life tends to bring us sometimes. If they can wrap you up in bubble wrap and keep you in your room for the rest of your life, I don't think they would pass up the opportunity. They just want to protect and love us to death!! I can't tell you how many times my mom has warned me about something and I completely ignored her only to regret it later and feel like a total idiot. So listen to your parents, because nine times out of ten, they mean well.
