Believe it or not, you can pamper your skin with products that are in your kitchen cabinet!! BEAUTY DOESN'T GET ANYMORE CONVENIENT THAN THAT LADIES!!
These are my top 3 magic kitchen ingredients that can be used in DIY face masks and will do wonders for your skin just like high quality skin care products.They are also great for replenishing and renewing your skin to give you that natural, healthy and youthful glow that we all want to accomplish!!
EGGS -
Eggs are a beauty super food. They are protein packed and are very beneficially to our hair, skin and nails which are extremely important to us ladies. It's what makes us girls feel beautiful and keep our femininity intact! I highly encourage that you try to eat a serving of eggs everyday to help keep your hair,skin and nails healthy and strong. But don't stop there, give you skin and hair a extra healthy boost, try applying an egg yolk with olive oil on your skin and hair topically as a protein boosting face and hair mask. I've been doing this for years and I am always pleased with the results! I always end up with beautiful, glowing hair and skin! :)
AVOCADOS-
Avocados have been used globally as a beauty enriching ingredient for centuries. This fruit is loaded with healthy natural vitamins so there's no wonder why they are always everyone's go-to ingredient when doing organic at- home face masks and personalized crazy beauty regimens. Mashing one of these antioxidant rich fruits with a bit of raw honey and applying it onto damp, clean skin can do wonders!!Avocados are also great for consuming and have tons of health benefits, so save some to make a delicious guacamole so you can snack on with some chips during a movie or as a mid-day snack :) I've been reading the "Beauty Detox Solution" by Kimberly Snyder and she has an amazing beauty guacamole recipe that I've been going crazy on for the past couple of weeks , you should try it!!
Beauty Guacamole by Kimberly Snyder
3 medium avocados
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
1 medium garlic clove / chopped very finely
1/4 teaspoon of Himalayan or Celtic sea salt
1 cup of chopped tomatoes
Cayenne pepper , to taste
Directions: Slice the avocados length-wise and remove the pit. Scoop out the green avocado flesh and add to a medium-size mixing bowl. Add the lemon juice and mash the avocados, using a fork . Make it as smooth or chunky as you like! Add the garlic, and sea salt and cayenne pepper and mix well. Add the chopped tomatoes last, and mix well again. Enjoy with some veggie sticks or chips of your liking!
OLIVE OIL-
Last but not least, olive oil. Olive oil is an ultra-moisturizing oil when applied to the skin. It's perfect for dehydrated,chapped and easily irritated skin. This oil is packed with Vitamin-E so it's amazing. I'm pro anything that has vitamins because vitamins are very important to obtaining natural beauty. Whether your eating it or applying it, olive oil is a great kitchen ingredient that will surely give you stunning beauty results.
TIP: Make sure your face is cleansed properly and prepped before using any of these kitchen ingredients so that your clean skin can soak up all the good, healthy and enriching vitamins. Have fun mixing and matching these ingredients to create your perfect organic mask that you can do weekly to keep your skin healthy, alive and beautiful :)
